Where to Stay for CES 2027: Choose the Right Las Vegas Base
CES 2027 is confirmed for January 6–9 in Las Vegas. Choosing where to stay is not simply a matter of finding a room that looks close to the Las Vegas Convention Center on a map. CES operates at city scale, and the most useful base depends on where your own exhibits, sessions and meetings are concentrated.
There is one check to make before any non-refundable purchase: CES is a trade-only event for people aged 18 or older who are affiliated with the consumer technology industry. Confirm that you meet the organiser's current registration requirements before committing to flights or accommodation.
What is confirmed—and what is still provisional
The Consumer Technology Association has confirmed the January 6–9 dates. Detailed 2027 floor plans, campus assignments and hotel shuttle routes are still being prepared. Current CES planning pages contain a mixture of confirmed 2027 information and previous-cycle operating detail, so a 2026 route should not be treated as a promise for 2027.
The latest detailed campus material remains a useful scale guide. It divides activity among the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Venetian campus and C Space venues around ARIA. CES Foundry is also confirmed at Fontainebleau for January 6–8, 2027. Your final schedule may span more than one of these areas.
A practical strategy is to reserve a flexible base, then review it when the 2027 schedule and maps identify your highest-priority locations.
Choose a base around your dominant campus
| Area | Best fit | Main trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| LVCC, Westgate or SAHARA | Exhibition-floor-heavy schedules | More effort for C Space or southern Strip meetings |
| Venetian and Harrah's/LINQ | Split Venetian and LVCC agendas | The Monorail does not enter Venetian Expo |
| ARIA and Park MGM | C Space, media and advertising programmes | Farther from the main LVCC halls |
| Elsewhere in Las Vegas | Room type, workspace or price priorities | More dependence on transfers and road traffic |
Near LVCC, Westgate or SAHARA
This is the logical starting point when most of your fixed commitments are on the main exhibition floors. CES describes LVCC as its largest venue, with North, South, Central and West halls plus outdoor space. Reducing cross-city journeys can preserve useful time, although the convention campus itself is large enough that you still need a walking plan.
The Las Vegas Monorail serves the convention center, with Westgate and SAHARA at the northern end of the same route. This makes the area practical for an LVCC-heavy schedule. It is less convenient if essential appointments cluster around ARIA or another off-route venue.
Venetian and Harrah's/LINQ
Consider this area if your agenda is split between the Venetian campus and LVCC. The Harrah's/The LINQ Monorail station provides access to the Venetian area, while the same line continues to the convention center. The Monorail does not stop inside Venetian Expo, so test the complete walk rather than assuming a door-to-door rail journey.
CES has previously operated venue-to-venue shuttles, but the eventual 2027 route, boarding points and hours should be checked after publication. Do not choose a property solely because it appeared on an older shuttle list.
ARIA, Vdara and Park MGM
This area deserves more weight if advertising, entertainment, media or content-industry programming dominates your trip. Current CES campus material groups ARIA, Vdara, the Cosmopolitan and Park MGM within C Space. A nearby base can simplify early meetings and evening functions, but it creates a longer transfer to LVCC.
Count the appointments that are genuinely fixed in this area. A general CES badge does not mean every day follows the same route, and the right answer can change after exhibitors release private meeting locations.
Elsewhere on the Strip or off-Strip
A wider search can still make sense when workspace, a larger room, accessibility, cancellation terms or total price outweigh transport convenience. Compare the whole trip rather than the room rate alone. Map the journey from the room to your first appointment and home from the final one, including the walk through the resort to the station or pickup point.
Build a transport plan with a backup
The Monorail has seven stations between MGM Grand and SAHARA, including LVCC. Its fixed route avoids road traffic, but reaching a platform can involve a substantial indoor walk. Recheck operating hours and service notices near your trip.
Within LVCC, the convention-center Loop connects campus stations. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority says trips between the five LVCC campus stations are complimentary, while off-campus travel requires a ticket. Because the network is developing, verify current stations and fares rather than planning from an old diagram.
Rideshare and taxis are useful fallbacks, not guaranteed shortcuts. Official CES guidance warns that venues and hotels use designated pickup points and that taxi lines can be long at the end of the day. Record the correct pickup entrance before a meeting ends and allow a buffer at peak times.
A five-step booking method
- Confirm eligibility and registration. CES is not open to the general public.
- List essential appointments. Add the campus beside each item when 2027 locations appear.
- Find the dominant area. Give fixed commitments more weight than general Strip popularity.
- Test first and last journeys. Those trips expose weak transport plans better than a midday map search.
- Review the entire booking. Compare total price, room type, accessibility, payment timing and cancellation deadlines.
Official housing and independent comparison
CES identifies onPeak as its official housing agent and says 2027 hotel accommodation is opening soon. Use the official CES hotel page for organiser room-block notices. Independent listings can broaden the comparison, but verify the provider, final amount and cancellation conditions before paying.
Once you know which campus should anchor the trip, use the CES 2027 venue-area map to compare current accommodation around LVCC. Adjust the dates to match your itinerary and judge each property against your actual route rather than a city-wide “near CES” label.
Frequently asked questions
Is CES 2027 only at the Las Vegas Convention Center?
No final detailed 2027 campus map has been published yet. Current official planning material spans LVCC, the Venetian campus, C Space and other programmed locations. Check the 2027 map before assuming every commitment is at LVCC.
Does the Monorail go directly to Venetian Expo?
No. Harrah's/The LINQ is the useful Monorail stop for the Venetian area, but the train does not enter Venetian Expo. Include the station-to-venue walk in your route check.
Are CES 2027 hotel shuttles confirmed?
Not yet. The official transport page still includes previous-cycle details while 2027 arrangements are prepared. Recheck the route, hotel, hours and accessibility information after CES publishes the new plan.
